Website delivery
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. It processes technical request data, including your IP address, requested URL, access time and browser information, to deliver pages and protect against attacks. This is necessary for our legitimate interest in operating a reliable, secure website under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Cloudflare and its service providers may process data worldwide, including in the US. Covered US transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework; other transfers requiring safeguards use EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Cloudflare's processing terms. Technical data are retained as necessary to provide and secure the service or meet legal obligations, then deleted or anonymised; we do not keep separate access-log copies. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Email contact
We use your email address, name and correspondence to answer enquiries and coordinate community activities. This serves our legitimate interest in communicating with interested people under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Providing information is voluntary; without contact details and an enquiry, we cannot respond.
We retain correspondence as needed for your enquiry, ongoing community contact and related arrangements, then delete it. Records needed to establish or defend legal claims may be retained until resolution or the applicable limitation period ends, based on that legitimate interest.
We use Google Workspace for email. Google and its service providers may process correspondence outside the European Economic Area, including the US. Covered US transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision; other transfers requiring safeguards use EU Standard Contractual Clauses in Google's processing terms. Google's final deletion can take up to 180 days once we can no longer restore the data, unless European law requires retention.
Visitor statistics
Only with your consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, GoatCounter measures page visits, sections viewed, contact clicks, referring websites and campaign sources to help us understand website use. It also derives browser, operating-system and approximate location statistics. Email contents and addresses are excluded.
GoatCounter temporarily processes IP and browser information to distinguish visits for up to eight hours. We store only aggregated reports without visitor identifiers, with no automatic expiry. GoatCounter and its hosting provider process this data within the EU. See GoatCounter's privacy policy.
Declining statistics does not affect access or contact. Withdraw consent anytime through Privacy choices in the footer by selecting Decline. This stops further measurement without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Cookies & privacy choices
We do not use tracking cookies. Your statistics choice stays in your browser's local storage and is valid for 180 days. It is not a visitor identifier or sent to GoatCounter. This storage is necessary to remember your choice under Section 165(3) TKG 2021; any associated personal-data processing serves that legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Your rights
Subject to the GDPR's conditions, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or data portability by emailing hello@acso-club.com.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time for reasons relating to your particular situation.
You can complain to a competent supervisory authority, such as the Austrian Data Protection Authority.
